Join us for an interactive session designed to address some of the big questions that families and caregivers of people diagnosed with cognitive and/or mental health challenges wrestle with regarding the future of their loved ones.

Jule currently works for Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network (PLAN) as the Family Advocate.  Her work primarily focuses on supporting individuals with disabilities and their family members in planning for the future to enable them to have a good and safe life in the community.

Prior to joining PLAN, she worked for CLBC as the Director of Service Accountability and Safeguards. She was responsible for the development of the CLBC Strategy on Ageing and carried out the duties of creating safeguard on-line courses, materials and other print resources for CLBC. 

Jule has worked in the field of services for children and adults with disabilities for over 40 years, her other experiences include being an Executive Director of a Community Living Association and of a large Child Development Centre. Jule also has a background in municipal recreation for seniors and for individuals of all ages living with a disability. She has a strong commitment to people, with vulnerabilities, receiving supports and services that ensure that they are able to live, work and play in their communities in a safe and caring manner surrounded by people who know and care about them.
