Come celebrate the holiday season and support our local foodbank with Viva Chorale’s annual holiday concert fundraiser. This year the choir will sing carols interspersed with a lovely story from the UK: The Mousehole Cat.
The tale follows the adventures of Mowzer the cat and her faithful human fisher, Tom Bawcock. This is a traditional story hailing from Cornwall, England. Every year to this day, the town of Mousehole celebrates this tale with a lantern festival and a seafood feast. This is a heartwarming story of bravery, courage and the desire to help.
There will also be a sing along portion so you can join in the holiday music making – and there will be lots of holiday treats available too.
In addition to cash or cheques, food donations will also be gratefully accepted.
