The closing of the “Our House” youth shelter at the Anglican Church provided the opportunity to shuffle program sites to great advantage for accessibility. Family Place moved to the larger, more accessible, and welcoming house at the Anglican Church in Ganges. This left the former “nurses residence” building at the main ICS site available for the emergency shelter and outreach services for the increasing number of homeless in the community.
