VanCity Foundation has granted $ 19,000 to assist us with SSI housing project pre-development activities. This funding will contribute to project coordination and design costs. We are hoping to get a favorable response from the Real Estate Foundation for more funding to cover project coordination and legal costs.

The BC Gaming grant we have received the past few years for the Core Inn has been approved for another year. As usual I asked for $ 40,000 and they granted $ 20,000.  This funding pays for the basic staffing and operating costs for the drop in.

Nancy and Alan Berman visited our food program sites and received an overview of the work we have been doing with their funding.  They are the primary funder of the Food Program Coordinator position (Simone Cazabon).
