Island Community Services is looking for a compassionate team member to work with adults with support needs, in their home. This is a 14 hours/week weekend position either Saturday/Sunday 8am – 3pm or Saturday/Sunday 3pm – 10pm. Successful applicant can choose which option suits them best. Start date is August 5th.
Qualities we are looking for include being responsible, abler to provide life-skills training and participate in recreational activities, ability to communicate well with family and other supports to ensure the best care is given and generally help the people we support live their best lives in their homes and in the community.
Starting wage is $25.05 or $25.91 depending on experience plus paid vacation, statutory holidays and sick days. The successful applicant can pick up additional shifts as needed up to full time. Covid Vaccination and a valid Drivers Licence are required. Criminal Records Search for the Vulnerable Sector and TB screening needed at hire.
