A collaboration between island health providers has developed and launched an online directory resource called FETCH – an acronym for “For Everything that’s Community Health”, on Salt Spring Island.
The service is available at www.saltspring.fetchbc.ca. FETCH is intended to provide a repository of easy to access information about health and social service related resources in available in the community.
The website will serve to not only provide a compilation of community health related resources dispersed across different publications and website, but also to provide a web presence to many organizations, providers and resources that may not have one already. This consequently provides web access to referral resources for many individuals and organizations facilitating the ability of community members to research available resources on their own.
Listed organizations with an interest in managing their own profiles and groups who would like to request listing are invited to contact the FETCH team at admin@saltspring.fetchbc.ca.
