S New Beginnings Vocational Development program is the recipient of the initial First West Foundation grant to a Salt Spring organization.
This is a new funding opportunity from the new Island savings/First West merger. The $ 5,000 will contribute to the basic operation of the vocational development program, and comes at a good time when a similar multi-year grant for this program from the SSI Foundation is coming to an end.
