Wage Wage Range $21.20 – $24.68

The Harvest Kitchen Cook prepares dishes and meals, and participates in the operation of the cooking facilities. Duties will include start to finish handling of meals for social minded programs and assisting in all aspects of cooking, cleaning, and organization for a productive kitchen. The Harvest Kitchen is a non for profit organization that is focused on providing nutritional meals for the community. We work in collaboration with our Harvest Café at Fulford Hall, acre Organic Farm, food collection program, and our meals on wheels for seniors program.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
1. Grade 10
2. Graduation from a program in institutional or residential quantity cooking
3. One (1) year recent related experience
4. Level 1 Food Safe Certificate

Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
This position requires union membership and is open to all applicants.
