Hours: 24/week 9-3
Wage Range: $25.05-$25.91/hour
The Day Programming Worker assists participants with their physical, economic, vocational, recreational, social, emotional, and safety needs and their daily life skills development. Assists participants to achieve the greatest degree of independence and quality of life possible as laid out in their Individual Person-centered Planning. The Day Programming Worker provides individualized and group programming for adults with Support Needs. They actively participate as members of a team responsible for the efficient functioning of FRIENDS Day Programming and works one on one with participants.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Diploma in human services or a related field.
2. One (1) year recent related experience working in caregiver or support worker role.
3. Current First Aid certification.
4. Valid BC Driver’s License.
