Job Title: Cook/ Driver
Hours of Work: 24 hours per week/Flexibility to work early mornings
Term: Term position until June 27, 2024
Start Date: April 3, 2024
Wage Range: $ 24.56-28.16/hour

Job Summary:
The Harvest Kitchen Cook/Driver prepares meals, baked goods and participates in the operation of the cooking facilities. Duties include start to finish preparation and packing of meals, as well as necessary cleaning and organising tasks required to keep the kitchen operating. The Cook/Driver is responsible for the transportation of food to various distribution and delivery locations and ensures the safe handling and storage of food through all steps of the delivery process. This is a temporary part-time position.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Graduation from an institutional cooking/culinary arts program and one year of recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Valid BC driver’s licence
  • Level 1 Food Safe Certificate
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
