SSICS will act as the “host agency” for a group of SSICS service providers who are establishing a formal connection with the provincial Community Response Network initiative.
It is an initiative to bring greater awareness and coordination in communities about elder abuse and neglect. The host agency responsibility is small, and involves managing and coordinating small grants and public awareness activities (several events per year, and approximately $ 1,500 in funding).
