Would you like to make a difference in a senior’s life?
There are many seniors living on Salt Spring that do not have family close or able to help with simple tasks like: yard and house work, friendly visits, grocery shops or simple home repair. Island Community services is now hiring Better at Home Contractors to support seniors with these tasks.
Contractors make an hourly rate and receive remuneration for gas/mileage. Better at Home service providers are assigned seniors with whom they work directly in the seniors’ homes.
Contact us to join a team of caring service providers who meet monthly for mutual support. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
