Youth and Family Counsellor

Term:                      Temporary until the return of the incumbent
Hours of Work:       30 hours/week
Start Date:              February 19, 2018

Job Summary:

Assesses youth client problems.  Develops and implements counselling plans for individuals, groups and families.  Plans and conducts individual and/or group counselling sessions using a variety of therapeutic counselling techniques.  Provides skill building in problem areas.  Provides case management services.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related human/social service field.
  2. Two (2) years recent related experience
  3. or) an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
