Kitchen Supervisor

Hours of Work: 26 hours per week
Wage Range: $19.45 to $22.65 

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Supervisor for the Harvest Kitchen program oversees the operation of the commercial kitchen that supplies prepared food for a broad spectrum of SSICS programs, including a food cart-style social enterprise restaurant in Ganges, daily meals for the Emergency Shelter, and various other meal programs and events throughout the organization. Orients,trains, schedules, monitors and provides direction to Harvest Kitchen staff and ensures proper food handling. Sources and secures required equipment and supplies, and performs duties to ensure its smooth operation as required.

 

Qualifications, Education & Experience: 

-Two (2) years recent related experience, including one (1) year supervisory experience.
-Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
-Level 1 Food Safe Training
-BC Drivers License
-First Aid Certificate
